Senior Associate, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI)

Carrie (she/they) connects clients’ visions for organizational change with seasoned learning approaches, meaningful consultation, and impactful facilitation to drive cultural transformations. She provides direct client services including DEI programming and consulting, project development and training, organizational effectiveness consulting, learning and team development, and small and large group facilitation. They’re well-versed in developing and customizing training curricula and learning materials for virtual and in-person training and presentations.

Carrie joined ADR Vantage in 2024 as an experienced learning consultant with more than a decade of experience. Carrie’s background includes in-person and virtual instructor-led training and eLearning design and development, leadership and professional development training, evaluation and data analytics, learning management system (LMS) administration, and Section 508/WCAG compliance.

Prior to joining ADR Vantage, Carrie served as a Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging Learning Consultant at Capital One, designing robust offerings for senior leaders, managers, talent acquisition, and all associates. While with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the leading HR professional organization, Carrie developed in-person and virtual offerings for HR professionals. She also served on a cross-organization taskforce with DEI industry veterans to develop free public webinars for SHRM members. In past consulting work, Carrie worked with Fortune 500 as well as government and non-profit clients. They have also worked directly in tech, higher education, local government, and law-related environments.

Carrie has a BA in African and African American Studies from Duke University.

Beyond her work life, Carrie is an active member of her community. They are a former tenant union organizer and previously served on the Friends of the Library Montgomery County Board of Trustees. She also volunteers her instructional design expertise and time to support small non-profits focused on racial equity and social justice work. Carrie lives in Maryland, and most nights, you can find them curled up on the couch alongside their dog and cat, enjoying a good book or a video game.
