ADR Vantage, Inc. is a small, woman owned consulting firm founded in 1993 in Washington, DC. Our early years paralleled developments in the federal sector to begin embracing the promise and using the tools of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and tangents of it to affect more successful workplaces and work life experiences for employees, managers, and leaders. With a business model of a virtual organization, we developed a core cadre of practitioners and a nationwide presence to serve the organizationally and geographically diverse interests of our clients.
It didn’t take us long to recognize that ADR by itself, was only one strand of a broad fabric of interrelated skills and techniques that our clients sometimes needed from us and more often wanted to be able to draw upon for themselves. We developed suites of services to empower our clients to improve their internal operations, communications, and conflict management. We added to our toolbox of conflict resolution and conflict management training, the disciplines of organizational development, individual and team assessment, facilitation and coaching. Over the years, we have won praise for our ability to honor our clients’ vision for their workplaces and to collaborate with them in designing a role to fit the organization’s needs, culture, and program goals.
