Elizabeth (Betsy) A. Shane brings more than 20 years of marketing, leadership, management development experience. Her work experience has been in brand building, marketing and training in various industries in the private sector, including: Food and Beverage, Hospitality, and Real Estate. Betsy designed and directed marketing strategies for Fortune 100 companies as a Communication Strategist for a boutique marketing firm in Wellesley, Massachusetts. She has designed marketing strategies and management training for a network of Spanish cuisine restaurants in the Boston metropolitan area.
In the public and nonprofit sectors, her concentration has been on team development, leadership development, executive coaching and collaborative workplace development. She serves as lead trainer for the International City/County Management Association, where she trains city managers and department directors on effective communication and conflict management techniques. She also serves as an executive coach to ICMA members and staff.
Betsy is a certified executive coach through the International Coach Federation and leads the coaching and mentoring components of the firm's various initiatives. She possesses a Master's degree in Management and a Teaching degree in Education.
