As a mediator and arbitrator, David Clark serves such diverse clients as Fortune 500 companies, commercial contractors, families, organizations, and private individuals. As an attorney, he brings his legal expertise in areas of labor and employment, civil rights, commercial contracts, and administrative law. He is sought after as a mediator and arbitrator by both public and private sector clients. Dave serves as an arbitrator for the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service, Better Business Bureau, NASD, NYSE, and the D.C. Bar Association's Attorney/Client Arbitration Board.
Before entering private practice in 2001, Mr. Clark worked for five years as an attorney-adviser to presidential appointees at the Federal Labor Relations Authority, an independent quasi-judicial agency that oversees disputes involving federal government employees and federal agencies. His duties included analyzing lawsuits, working as a mediator, facilitating settlements, advising senior counsel, and drafting final legal decisions.
David holds both a law degree and a Master's degree specializing in International Conflict Resolution from American University. He received a Bachelor's degree from the University of Richmond. He certified as a mediator by the Supreme Court of Virginia and is a member of the state bar associations in New York, New Jersey, and the District of Columbia.
